**Descriptions

Setup

Put up signs directing people to event parking lot, classrooms, etc., put up session schedule in each room, set up chairs and tables, make sure that rooms are functioning (and any AV is working)

 

Parking

Collect parking fees, direct people where to park, direct people to event.

 

Registration

Check against list of registered attendees, give out name tags, session schedules, and raffle tickets, create name tags for unregistered participants.

 

Session support

Be “on call” to all speakers should they need any help (white board pens, help with projector, watching the room if they have to leave while setting up, etc.) Once the sessions have started, you will most likely be able to attend whatever you wish, as long as you are available via cell phone.)

 

Food Service

Support whatever food services are available, refilling beverage containers (especially coffee), organizing food distribution, supporting any catering services, etc.

 

Teardown/clean-up

Fold up all tables and chairs, restore classrooms to original condition, clean up trash, remove all signs (parking, directions, session)
